With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Christa brings a wealth of financial expertise and leadership to Standard Carbon.
Christa Walkden’s extensive background includes a range of disciplines, making her a seasoned leader well-equipped to drive Standard Carbon’s financial growth and strategic initiatives. Her most recent engagements involve providing fractional CFO and advisory services, reflecting her mastery of financial strategy and management. With a remarkable ability to collaborate effectively on both sides of the border, Christa has worked with a diverse clientele, from ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs to multinational corporations.
A pivotal highlight of Christa’s journey was her role as Vice President, Product Management, at one of the industry’s premier financial planning software providers. In this capacity, she spearheaded product strategy in tandem with thought leaders in financial planning across North America. Recognized for her prowess, Christa is also a seasoned public speaker, known for her skill in translating complex financial regulations into actionable insights.

Christa’s credentials underscore her commitment to excellence. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with licensure from the North Dakota State Board of Accountancy, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba. Christa also holds a Master of Science in Taxation (MST) from Golden Gate University. Her relentless pursuit of growth led her to earn her CPA designation in Canada as well.
